Black and gold

   Some time ago I made this wonderful card for a colleague from work who was leaving. I stamped the flower image from Beautiful Flowers stamp set from Simon Says Stamp and coloured it with watercolours. I decided to use blue and yellow for the flowers, as I believed that it would match the black background I had in mind. As the last step, I painted all the background deep black, creating the gorgeous contrast effect. To add a bit of interest I also splattered some shiny gold paint over my project.

Flourishing Fuchsias

   Some time ago I made this 'Thank you' card using a wonderful stamp set from Pretty Pink Posh called Flourishing Fuchsias. I stamped the flowers and the leaves, concentrating my design in the top left corner of the card, and coloured it with watercolours. In the end, I created the fading effect background and added some paint splatters for the extra interest.

Beautiful Flowers 2

   After the success of their Beautiful Flowers stamp set, people at Simon Says Stamp decided to produce the continuation- Beautiful Flowers 2 stamp set.

   I used the gorgeous images from that stamp set and watercoloured them, creating two pretty cards. In the second one, I coloured the background black to increase the contrast and dramatic effect.

Spring flowers

Another beautiful card using Centre Cut Flowers stamp set from Simon Says Stamp. Coloured with Kuretake Clean Colour Markers in spring colours.

Sketch Ranunculus

   Two watercolour cards using a Sketch Ranunculus stamp set from Simon Says Stamp. The first of them is a Birthday card and the other one is a love card, perfect for engagement or anniversary. In both cases, I arranged and stamped the flowers, coloured the images with watercolours and at the end, added some gems.

Hope

   The Challenge on Altenew's blog inspired me to create this beautiful birthday card.

   I used 'Hope' stamp set from Altenew and inks in Rose Quartz, Purple Wine and Puffy Heart for this amazing floral. For the background, I used some old scrap paper with the woodgrain pattern in grey. Finished with some pretty gems and simple sentiment on black background.
