Sleeping baby

   One again I used my gorgeous sleeping baby stamp to make some 'Congratulations' cards for expecting parents. I coloured the images with my Cotman watercoloures from Winsor & Newton, using different shades of blue and pink.

        

Purple rose

   For this card, I used the layering stamp set from Altenew called 'Sweet Rose Bouquet'. I stamped three of the roses in the shades of purple using inks from Hampton Art and for the leaves I used Frayed Leaf and Forest Glades inks from Altenew. I shaded the edges of the panel with the Distress Ink- Shaded Lilac. The sentiment I chose came from Altenew's 'Vintage Roses' stamp set. As the last step, I added some sparkling gems to add interest to that simple card.

Love Kaleidoscope

I found two other ways to use the Simon Says Stamp 'Kaleidoscope Background' stamp. I created two romantic cards, that would be great gifts for Valentine's Day, engagement or wedding anniversary.

Kaleidoscope Background

   From many adorable background stamps available on the market, this one is one of the most interesting. 'Kaleidoscope Background' from Simon Say Stamp. I coloured it with my Sharpies.

Inked backgrounds

   Today I post pictures of two beautiful cards I made some time ago. They both have an inked background that I made using Distress Inks, and some simple flower image repeatedly stamped over the front panel.

   I've decided to use the fact that the weather is nice here in London and took some pictures in the garden. I think I will do it more often during the summer.

Colouring challenge- Day 2

   Today I made a congratulations card for the parents of a newborn baby. I used Wild Rose Studios stamp with cute baby elephant and coloured it with my Cotman watercolour paints. The sentiment I chose is from Tim Holtz 'Simple Sayings' stampset. 

   This beautiful card would be a perfect gift for parents of a little baby girl.

Day 1 of the colouring challenge

The time has come! The colouring challenge started!
And I didn't get enough time to create anything unique.
Just to be quick-I grabbed my Johanna Basford Colouring Desk Calendar and found a page for today. I coloured it with some pencils.
